Easter PU Freebie kit Re-Release

Originally I was going to re-release this on Monday 30th with Easter rapidly approaching, the shops are full of Chocolate Eggs and Easter bunnies and I thought I don't want my lovely friends to miss out on getting everything ready for Easter.

Then my CT have outdone themselves (AGAIN!) and sent me lots of lovely goodies to show you what you can do with this kit and some more (YES MORE!) printables from Marlene.

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mothers Day!

Hope all Mothers out there are being pampered and looked after and treated with the respect they deserve.

My children made me some lovely cards, my son sewed me a little teddy bear and planted me a spider plant at cub scouts, my daughter made me a pretend vase of flowers at rainbows and made me a pot plaque out of clay which she had painted at school. They did a Mothers Day assembly at school yesterday too which was lovely.

Hubby organised them into making a chinese take out meal for lunch which was scrumptious!

I have two wonderful sons, Christopher is 26 and Josseph is 20. My amazing partner's name is Greg and we have been together for 6 years now. I have been asked by various people where the name Gallimaufry came from, well the dictionary definition from various sources are as follows:

- odds and ends: a motley assortment of things
- A jumble; a hodgepodge

a friend of my parents called their house this and I remembered it when coming to chose the name of my blog! Hope this explains it enough for you all?

Dandelion Dawn PU Freebie kit

How much fun did I have making this kit?...loads! I lurrrve the colours and shabby chic look of it.You can't really tell from the preview but some of the papers have a lovely dandelion brush detail.

I discovered how to install new brushes and the one I used here is from http://www.obsidiandawn.com/ and if you're a designer you just have to check out her stuff she's amazing! I also found another site (although not used the brushes yet) which is http://www.hawksmont.com/

Other credits for this kit go to Aubreysmom and Yarrow for overlays, and the bows are Cajun designs, I know I don't really need to credit for most CU items but I do like to anyhoo! The rest is my own!

Thanks to all those who have sent me info about other sharing sites, and especially to all those who have reassured me about using 4shared! I did a lot of research about the issues, including trying out a few of the other sites available. However I still found 4shared to be the easiest and quickest (not to mention free!) to use.

From what I can gather the problems are with the ads and cookies and NOT on the downloads themselves. So if your computer is thoroughly protected and you don't click on any ad links you should be safe.

A few people have been saying they don't like using 4shared due to problems they've had with viruses. I've tried using Rapidshare but its totally un-user friendly. Does anyone know of any other file sharing sites I could use that would be free for me to use and free for people to download from?

Corrugated Card Elements Freebie

I've been having a play with the cookie cutter tool and my newly scanned corrugated card and this kit is the result, hence it is fine for PU/CU/S4H/S4O. There are more than shown here and shadows only in preview!

Hope you find them useful, as I have already done, they go great with my Spring Butterfly kit as I'm sure they would with anything really! I included a couple of cars, trains etc as I know how hard it is to get hold of basics for boys!

New Look Blog!

Whoop! Whoop!

Well it took me an age to sort it out ( I always forget that it needs to be 72dpi! LOL!) but I got there in the end, and those of you with wider screens will get a slightly better version (more of the dark brown edging!). Its amazing what one can do with a supermarket yoghurt box and some stamps innit! te he!

I decided that my old brand was too 'in yer face' and didn't always look great next to some colour schemes (even though that was why I had chosen it the first place, I thought that black and white would be great for that!). Also my branding label wasn't working on my previews either.

so wadda ya think girlies?
